Davis Open House & Tour Postponed

Centennial School District had originally scheduledfor parents and community members to tour the district's newest elementary school building.

Yesterday afternoon, via the district's email alert system, administration announced the event schuduled for Thurdsay, Aug. 23 would be cancelled.

The following is the notice the district sent to the community:

NOTICE TO THE DAVIS COMMUNITY: 

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the new Davis Elementary School.  We are still on schedule for the opening of school, and are working hard to have everything in place for the return of our children.  Due to the very final stages of construction, in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all the Davis students and families, we must postpone our previously scheduled August 23 New Student Orientation and Open House to August 30. 

By expanding our Open House hours on August 30, we hope to accommodate all the families that were previously scheduled for August 23.  Please see the schedule below for the additional times available for visiting and touring our building.  We hope these new hours will allow everyone the opportunity to visit our beautiful new school prior to September 4. 

Open House – 9:00 AM -12:00 PM

New Student Orientation – 1:00 PM -2:00 PM

Kindergarten Orientation – 2:00 PM -3:00 PM

Open House – 3:00 PM -7:00 PM
