Davisville Road Repairs Underway

Crews were busy milling the stretch of Davisville Road that runs between Street and County Line Roads Thursday. 

The repaving of the busy thoroughfare that defines the border between Upper Southampton Township and neighboring Warminster Township is expected to last until the middle of next week.

Davisville Road was one of three streets in Southampton named for repaving by township supervisors during a road tour earlier this year.

It is the last of the three projects to be completed. Before work could begin, the two townships had to forge an agreement as each owns one half of the roadway. 

James D. Morrissey, Inc. was awarded the bid for the project at a total cost of $196,227.32.  Responsibility for payment will be shared with Warminster.
