KLINGER MIDDLE SCHOOL TO PERFORM DISNEY'S ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR.

SOUTHAMPTON---Klinger Middle School students are preparing for an entertaining and energetic musical performance of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. Scheduled for February 6 and 7, 2015, at Klinger Middle School in Southampton, the performance will delight audience members of all ages.

Lewis Carroll’s beloved heroine Alice will amuse the crowd with her zany adventures in Wonderland. Joined by an entertaining cast of characters, Alice will chase the White Rabbit, race the Dodo Bird, get tied up with the Tweedledee and Tweedledum, and beat the Queen of Hearts at her own game. Things will get curiouser and curiouser with the appearance of the Cheshire Cat and his trademark mischievous grin.

Klinger’s production takes a fresh look at the timeless classic. Even the score has been updated with new versions of “The Un-birthday Song,” “Zip a Dee Doo Dah,” and “I’m Late.”

More than 75 students are participating in the show. “I encourage the community to come and experience Wonderland with our amazing sets and fun costumes,” said Regina Cupo, director.

Performances are scheduled for 7:00 P.M. on February 6, 2015 and 2:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. on February 7, 2015. Tickets are available for purchase in Klinger’s music room through Friday, February 6th. Student and senior tickets are $5.00 and adult tickets are $7.00 in advance. Tickets will also be available at the door before each musical at a cost of $8.00 for students and seniors, and $10.00 for adults. Centennial gold card members are welcome at no cost.
