Multiple Vehicle Thefts Reported In Upper Southampton

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Upper Southampton Police Department is investigating multiple vehicle thefts and theft from vehicle cases over the past few days.

Police said the thefts occurred during the overnight hours.

In each case, the owner left their vehicle unlocked with valuables clearly observable, police said.

Police said in the vehicle theft cases, the owners left the ignition keys in the unlocked vehicle.

Police urge residents to remove valuables from their vehicles when they park for the night, properly secure/lock their car, and never under any circumstances leave the keys inside.

Residents should also call 911 to report any suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhood during the overnight hours.
