Nine Miles of Street Road to Be Repaved This Month
Repairs to Street Road will be made between Route 532 and Route 611 in Lower Southampton, Upper Southampton, Warminster and Warrington.

A $5 million project to repair and resurface nine miles of Street Road will begin Monday, PennDOT has announced.
Repairs to Street Road will be made between Route 532 (Bustleton Pike) and Route 611 (Easton Road) in Lower Southampton, Upper Southampton, Warminster and Warrington townships.
The project is funded by Act 89, the state’s new transportation plan.

In addition to the resurfacing work, crews will install ADA curb ramps, new pavement markings and centerline rumble strips. Pedestrian buttons at various signalized intersections will be upgraded.
Starting Monday, Sept. 8 through the following Monday, Sept. 15, lane restrictions are planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Route 263 and Route 532.

Paving is scheduled to start the week of Sept. 15, and will result in lane restrictions weeknights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to PennDOT.
The milling and paving part of this project is scheduled to be completed in the late fall. The entire project is expected to be finished in July 2015.
