No Parking Zones Set For Southampton Days
Upper Southampton Township Police have designated no parking zones for its annual festival, which begins on Monday.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The township is making plans to hold its annual Southampton Days event next week. And the police department is setting up enforcement.
The Upper Southampton Township Police Department announced that No Parking Zones are being designated on streets and locations deemed necessary for the duration of the event, which runs from July 3 through July 8.
It applies to the parade, fireworks and the carnival.

The order comes from Police Chief Dominic Varacallo and went into effect on Monday.
No Parking signs will be posted and violations will carry a fine of $300.

Police said that vehicles will be subject to tow at the owner's expense per ordinances 174-28 and 174-33.
Meanwhile, Southampton Days is seeking volunteers to help set up for the event. Organizers said setup will begin on Saturday, July 1. Anyone interested in volunteering should head to the softball fields at 9 a.m. Saturday.Click here for more information about Southampton Days.
