Our Lady of Good Counsel MLK Day Service Project - Breakfast Bags for area Seniors
OLGC MLK Day Service Project
On Monday January 18, over 40 Our Lady of Good Counsel children (and parents) filled 400 “breakfast bags” for Aid for Friends as part of OLGC CYOs 5th Annual MLK Day Service Project.
The “Breakfast Bags” were filled with donations collected from OLGC parishoners since after Christmas and included miniature cereal boxes, instant oatmeal packets, tea bags, juice boxes. cereal bars & granola bars, and packs of peanut butter crackers.
Congratulations to the boys and girls on a job well done (and congratulations to the parents for teaching the kids about giving back to the community)
