Road Maintenance Will Slow Down I-95 in Bucks County This Week

By James Boyle PennDOT crews will close lanes on I-95 in Middletown and Bensalem to perform maintenance work.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that motorists will experience traffic slowdowns on northbound and southbound Interstate 95 between Taylorsville Road and the Philadelphia County line in Lower Makefield, Middletown and Bensalem townships, Bucks County, for brushing operations.

Crews will close the right lane on northbound I-95 on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 15-16) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and southbound on Wednesday and Thursday (Sept. 17-18) during the same time.

The slow moving operations will be performed by PennDOT Bucks County maintenance employees. Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com.
