Severe Thunderstorms, 'Damaging' Winds Possible In Bucks County Tuesday

“The biggest threats with these storms will be torrential rain and gusty winds in excess of 60 mph,” AccuWeather Meteorologist Edward Vallee said on his agency’s site.

According to the National Weather Service, the forecast for Monday and Tuesday is:

Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 69. Southwest wind around 6 mph.

Tuesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely after noon. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. South wind 10 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tuesday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Northwest wind 7 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
