Southampton Chamber Music Society Concert on Sunday, September 7th

The Southampton Chamber Music Society will present a program of music for French horn, harp and strings at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 7th, at the Southampton Old School Baptist Meetinghouse, 2nd Street Pike (Route 232) and Maple Ave., Southampton, PA 18966. In addition to Mozart’s Quintet for Horn & Strings, we will be performing a trio for two violas & cello by Mozart’s contemporary, Florian Gassmann, the Quintet for Harp & Strings by the German romantic period composer and writer E.T.A. Hoffmann (as in “Tales of Hoffmann”), and the local premier of a work for horn and harp by Jack Stamp, Chair of the Music Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
