Southampton Man Sentenced For Sexual Assault Of Girl, 12
James McCreesh, 43, will serve 6 to 12 years in prison and will be required to register as a sexual offender for the rest of his life.

An Upper Southampton man will serve 6 to 12 years in state prison for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl, according to the Bucks County District Attorney’s office.
James McCreesh, 43, was found guilty by a jury on Oct. 23 of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old, indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old, and corruption of a minor.
McCreesh will serve 6 to 12 years in a state correctional facility, followed by two years of probation. McCreesh will be required to register as a sexual offender for the rest of his life.

McCreesh sexually assaulted the girl three times in April and May of 2014 at his home in Upper Southampton, according to information from the District Attorney’s office. The girl told friends that McCreesh had forced her to engage in sexual acts and later repeated the allegations to a school counselor, who contacted authorities, according to information from the District Attorney’s office.
