Tennent Boys Travel To Council Rock-South
The Panthers hope to reverse their shooting woes tonight.

The William Tennent boys basketball team is learning the hard way that early success does not guarantee continued a successful season.
After opening the season by winning two games to capture the South Lehigh Tip-Off Classic championship, shooting woes have seen the Panthers open Suburban One conference play with losses to Pennridge and Council Rock-North.
They'll try to turn that around tonight against Council Rock South.

Head coach Robert Mulville said he expects his team's shooting to improve.
"I really believe that Cole Weber, Ryan Smith, and Shakat Kofa are all real good shooters," he said. "I think we just have to work better at executing our plays so they get an open look. They can shoot. I've seen them shoot in practice. It just has to translate [to games]."

As for tonight's opponent, Mulville said the Golden Eagles are very "disciplined and they run a real good flex-style offense, so it'll be a good game." The junior varsity game is scheduled to start at 5:30, with varsity slated for 7 p.m.
