Upper Southampton Police Seeking Robbery Suspect

The suspect did not show a weapon during the robbery but implied he had one, police said.

Upper Southampton Police are seeking a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred Sunday night in the township.

Police said at about 4:50 a.m., a man wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt with a white logo, black New Balance shoes, and sunglasses entered the 7-Eleven store at 11 Maple Ave., Southampton. The suspect's face was covered by the hood from the sweatshirt, police said.

Police said the suspect did not show a gun but implied having a gun to the store employee and demanded cash from the register.

The suspect left the scene on foot in an unknown direction with several hundred dollars in cash police said.
