Upper Southampton Township: Kiwanis Club Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

ANNOUNCEMENT

This year the Kiwanis Club Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will resume. The Christmas Tree, located in Veterans Field, will be lit on Friday, November 26th and will be lit again at dusk each night until after New Year’s Day.

The Christmas Tree Lighting has been an annual event coordinated by the Kiwanis Club of Southampton, who initially placed the tree and bought the lighting and decoration.

At the event, the Upper Southampton Fire Company will transport Santa to Veterans Field and Christmas music will be played.

The lighting ceremony will commence at 6:30 p.m. Parks and Recreation will provide games for the children prior to the lighting at 6:00 and the Police Department will provide support for the event.

The Kiwanis Club will provide light snacks. Please plan to bring your family to this event along with your own chairs.
