WARMINSTER, PA — The Centennial School District has raised over $15,000 through a local community partnership aimed at supporting students and families in our school district.
From Jan. through March 31, shoppers had the opportunity to round up their purchase at the register at the Giant Food Stores in Warminster and Upper Southampton townships to support the Centennial School District’s efforts to combat childhood hunger.
Giant partners with many school districts in the Philadelphia region to support students facing food insecurity.
School officials said that through the partnership, the funds directly assist in paying down student meal debt.
“The Giant Company is a valued partner of the Centennial School District, consistently reaching out to support our efforts in addressing food insecurity within our schools and our community.” said Lori Deni, Centennial Food and Nutrition Manager.
