WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The executive director of The Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce has stepped down.
Executive Director Judy Doherty announced her resignation on May 20 after 11 years leading the organization that promotes businesses in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
"It is difficult to put into words what these past 11 years have meant to me," Doherty said. "Serving as Executive Director has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life."
Doherty said the opportunity to work alongside and support our businesses, community leaders, board members, volunteers, and members "has been a gift I will always treasure."
During her tenure, Doherty helped steer the chamber through Covid and other challenges, built meaningful relationships, and created chamber opportunities.
"While this decision was not an easy one, I believe the time is right for the next generation of leadership to bring fresh ideas, energy, and vision to continue moving the chamber forward," she said.
