WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for April.
These are the criminal incidents:
- An officer took a phone call at headquarters regarding Criminal Mischief. The complainant advised that her next-door neighbor had sprayed water on her security cameras. The video footage was forwarded to the Officer. The 59-year-old man will be cited for Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct.
- The Animal Control Officer responded to Acorn Drive for a report of a dog bite. The homeowner advised that his grandson was playing outside and was bitten by the neighbor's dog. Pictures were taken of the child's injuries. The Animal Control Officer went to see the dog owner. The 61-year-old man stated his dog charged out the door and went to the neighbor's driveway. The dog owner couldn't provide proof of a current dog license or a Rabies Vaccination. The man provided a current 2026 Dog License when the Animal Control Officer arrived to check on the dog after the quarantine period. The man will be issued a Non-Traffic Citation for Vaccination of Rabies Required.
- On routine patrol, an officer noticed an erratic driver at Jacksonville and Street roads. He observed the driver cut through the gas station lot to avoid the red light. The vehicle abruptly stopped at Jacksonville and Potter Street. The officer activated his emergency lights and pulled behind the vehicle. When asked for his driving credentials, the Officer noticed a baggie with white powdery residue in the center console. The officer asked the driver to hand it to him. The 30-year-old man complied. The officer asked if there was anything else that was illegal in the vehicle. The driver stated a small amount of marijuana, but the driver had a medical marijuana card. The man was taken into custody, handcuffed, and transported to headquarters. The baggie was taken to the lab for testing. The man will be charged with Drug Possession, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed. Additional charges are pending due to Lab results.
- Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a report of a Retail Theft in progress. While en route, it was broadcast that the man had left the store on foot and was headed to Street Road. A description was broadcast, and officers located the male fitting the description, walking on Street Road. The man was handcuffed and placed under arrest. The 41-year-old man was charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. Judge Gambardella advised that the male would be receiving information on a court date later and could be released. The total value of merchandise stolen was $40.96. The man was released, and all property was returned to Walmart.

- Bucks County Radio advised that Upper Moreland Police Department had a 39-year-old man on a traffic stop, and he may have stolen an item from the CVS on York Road in Warminster. The Clerk at the CVS was unaware of a Retail Theft, so she went to the back of the store to review video footage. The officer responded to Upper Moreland's traffic stop to take possession of the stolen items. The total value of stolen items was $126.93. The man was advised to turn himself in. The man was processed and taken before Judge O'Neill. Bail was set at 10 percent of $10,000. The man was charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Retail Theft.
- On routine patrol, an officer observed a vehicle committing numerous traffic violations on Street Road near Jacksonville Road. When the vehicle was stopped, the female stated she was coming from the General Davis. The officer noticed an owner's manual on the passenger seat with white powdery substance and a rolled-up dollar bill. The 38-year-old woman agreed to Field Sobriety tests and a breathalyzer test. The woman failed the Field Sobriety test and refused a blood alcohol test. A plastic baggie with white powder residue was found on the floor under the driver's seat and taken by the Officer for testing. The woman was taken into custody, processed, and released to her boyfriend. The woman and her boyfriend were given courtesy transport to his residence.

- Officers were dispatched to Rise Medical Marijuana Dispensary on York Road for a report of a hit-and-run accident. A driver backed into another vehicle and left the scene. The other driver obtained the vehicle plate number, and it came back to a Plumstead address. A Plumstead officer was dispatched to the home address of the 19-year-old man who had left the accident scene. The man came into the Police Department to be fingerprinted and photographed. He was released to await a court date. Charges of Accident involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property, Duty to Give Information and Render Aid, and Limitations on Backing are pending.
