300 Backpacks Donated To Warminster School

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — A township school has received a donation of 300 backpacks.

School officials said that Sharon Grosso, executive director of The MAGIC Charities Foundation, donated the backpacks to the McDonald Elementary School.

"Because of this wonderful gift, so many of our Bulldogs will walk into the new school year feeling prepared, confident, and excited to learn," school officials said.

The school is holding a Title I Bulldog Bash from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald Elementary School at 666 Reeves Lane.

Meanwhile, William Tennent High School will welcome new students and their families with an orientation from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the high school at 333 Centennial Road.

School officials will provide students the opportunity to get comfortable on campus, walk the halls, and envision their high school journey.

There will also be a presentation by the 9th Grade principal.

The Centennial School District will begin the 2026-2027 school year on Monday, Aug. 31.
