LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — It's that time of the year for festivals celebrating the region's ethnicity.
As summer winds down toward the Labor Day weekend, some communities are honoring their ethnic heritages before many festivals start focusing on the fall.
This weekend, there are two major festivals, with one geared toward the Italian heritage in Bristol Borough and the other focusing on the Ukrainian heritage in Horsham Township.
These are some of the events planned for this weekend in Lower Bucks County and the Philadelphia region:
The annual St. Ann Italian Festival & Carnival in Bristol Borough wraps up on Saturday. The event is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. behind the St. Ann's Catholic Worship Site at 357 Dorrance Street. (Read More)

The annual Ukrainian Folk Festival and Outdoor Concert takes place on Sunday from Noon to 8 p.m. at the Ukrainian American Sport Center in Horsham. (Read More)
