WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for August.
These are the criminal incidents:
- Officers were dispatched to Fenton Street in Warminster Heights for a report of a domestic argument. Upon arrival, a 34-year-old man was taken into custody after injuring two minor children who were trying to get away from him. The man fought with police officers and made verbal threats. He was charged with Domestic Assault, Terroristic Threats, Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, and numerous other charges. The man was arraigned, and bail was set at 10 percent of $100,000. The man was transported to Bucks County Prison.
- Officers responded to Walmart for a report of a Retail Theft and Asset Protection had a 46-year-old man in custody. The man was cited for theft of items totaling $22.24. The man was taken into custody and transported to headquarters to be processed. He was cited for Retail Theft and transported to the bus stop.
- Officers were sent to East Street Road and Davisville Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Southampton officers arrived and determined that the accident was Warminster's and the driver of one of the vehicles may be intoxicated. An open container was found in the console cup holder. The 56-year-old female driver stated she had not been drinking but was stumbling, having difficulty speaking and had bloodshot, glassy eyes. The woman agreed to perform Field Sobriety tests, which she failed. Officers asked her if she would submit to a Portable Breathalyzer test which she did and the reading was .333 percent. The woman did not consent to a blood draw. A family member was called to pick her up from the scene. The female will be charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol.
- Officers were dispatched to Walsh's on York Road for a report of an elderly man who had fallen in the parking lot. When Officers arrived the 74-year-old man was unable to answer basic questions. Emergency Medical Services were called to evaluate the male. The man was transported to Abington Hospital. He was cited for Public Drunkenness.
- A man came into the lobby at Police Headquarters to file a report in regard to a domestic argument that happened earlier with his wife. He advised that his wife had bitten him and stabbed him. Central Bucks Emergency Services responded to Police Headquarters to check out the man's injuries. The man refused to go to the hospital. Officers responded to the man's residence on Newtown Road and took the 35-year-old woman into custody. She was arraigned, and bail was set at $25,000 unsecured. The woman was charged with Harassment, Simple Assault, Prohibited Offensive Weapon and Aggravated Assault.
- Police were dispatched to Nemoral Street for a report of a Domestic Argument. The caller stated her son was intoxicated, yelling and throwing things in the kitchen. The 21-year-old man was acting erratic and belligerent to the Officers and disrespecting his mother in front of officers. The man shoved his next-door neighbor in front of Police and was taken into custody. He was transported back to Headquarters to be held until his blood alcohol level was lower. The man was cited for two counts of Harassment and transported home.
