WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Hartsville Fire Company is getting a $351,250 grant for improvements.
Of that amount, $150,000 comes from State Sen. Frank Farry, $175,000 from State Rep. Brian Munroe, and another $26,250 from Farry for personal protective equipment.
The combined $325,000 will go toward refurbishing Special Service 93, which primarily serves as a mobile air cylinder filling station supporting fire departments throughout Central Bucks County and portions of Montgomery County.
Fire officials said the additional $26,250 will help provide essential protective equipment for our firefighters.
"We sincerely thank Senator Farry and Representative Munroe for their support and commitment to the fire service and public safety," fire officials said.
The Hartsville Fire Company is a nonpartisan organization.
