• Golden Bears Answer Back With Grit, Fall Just Short Against Avon Grove (mychesco.com) — A tightly fought high school football game at Harmony Park in West Grove saw Oxford fall 18–12 to Avon Grove, but with a much stronger showing than last week's blowout loss. Oxford's offense, led by quarterback Emilio Lara, piled up big rushing yards and key plays, yet ran out of time at the Avon Grove 4-yard line as the clock expired.
