2017 Halloween Candy Buy Back - Briglia Dental Group

West Chester, PA – For the seventh year in a row, Dr. Ron Briglia at Briglia Dental Group will be hosting a Halloween Candy Buyback to provide candy for our troops overseas during the holidays.
Briglia Dental Group is redefining the phrase “put your money where your mouth is.” After Halloween, trick-or-treaters can bring their candy to Briglia Dental Group in West Chester and receive $1 per pound (up to 5 pounds) and receive cash for their candy.

Parents who bring their children to donate candy will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win a gift baskets.

“We know kids love candy, but all those sweets are a real hazard to their teeth,” says Dr. Briglia. “We are offering kids a chance to ditch their excess candy. They can still have all the fun of trick-or-treating, and now their piggy banks will benefit as well.”

Briglia Dental Group sends collected candy to Stockings for Soldiers (www.stockingsforsoldiers.org) an organization that ships care packages to our U.S. Troops overseas to make their holidays a bit brighter.
According to a recent Ad Council Report, “dental decay is the most common chronic childhood disease with more than 16 million kids suffering from untreated tooth decay in the U.S. The mouth is the gateway to a person’s overall health and an unhealthy mouth can be associated with obesity, diabetes and even heart disease. In the U.S., oral disease causes kids to miss 51 million school hours and their parents to lose 25 million work hours annually.”

“Visiting your dentist twice a year and brushing daily are great preventative measures, but doing away with excess sweets altogether would really give your teeth a healthy boost,” says Dr. Briglia.
Candy is always collected at Briglia Dental Group (Dr. Ron Briglia), Chester County Medical Bldg., 600 East Marshall Street, Suite 201, West Chester, Pa. The candy must be unopened. Please no bites.

All donated candy will be brought to the Stockings for Soldiers program in Delaware, where your candy will be stuffed into 10,00-12,000 stockings for our troops this holiday season.
The Stockings for Soldiers program thanks each and every one of you who kindly donate their candy for this great cause.

Last year, we collected over 2,750 lbs. of donated candy for our troops overseas. Please help us beat that number this year!
