2018 West Chester Short Film Festival: What To Know
The 2018 festival will include several Oscar nominated films.
WEST CHESTER, PA — The 2018 iteration of the West Chester Film Festival is just weeks away, as a schedule has been finalized and several Oscar-nominated productions are set to participate.
A mixture of short films in a wide variety of genres will be screened, including comedies, dramas, experimental films, documentaries, and more, all shown in a series of two hour film blocks at the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center and the Chester County Historical Society.
The festival will begin with an opening night party on Friday, April 27 at The Social, on East Gay Street. The party will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The first block of films will be shown at Uptown at 7 p.m. and will include six films, including Oscar nominee "The Eleven O'Clock." Another batch of seven films, featuring Oscar nominee "Watu Wote," will play at 7:15 p.m. at CCHS.
