3 Individuals Wanted In Chester Co. School Bus Shooting: Police

Two of the individuals opened fire on the school bus, which was loaded with children, police said.

COATESVILLE, PA — Authorities continue to investigate the shooting at a school bus in Chester County earlier this month, and three individuals are still wanted.

The incident occurred on Thursday, Oct. 10 at around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Hope Avenue and Charles Street in Coatesville.

Four masked individuals approached the bus as it stopped to let off a student, police said. The DA's office described the attack as "targeted" at one specific individual.

Two of the four individuals — described only as "males" — fired shots at the bus, and then all four fled the area, police said.

One of the suspects, a 17-year-old student at Coatesville High School, was arrested. The others remain at large.

Their ages are not known.
