$4,000 Guitar Stolen From West Chester Shop, 2 Men Wanted: Cops

Do you recognize this man? Police said two suspects are wanted after stealing a guitar from a West Chester business recently.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Police said two suspects are wanted after stealing an expensive guitar from a West Chester business recently.

The Gibson Les Paul guitar is valued at $3,995.

The incident occurred back on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at around 3:30 p.m. at the West Chester Music Store, located on 310 S. High Street in the borough.

Chester Alan Lupton, 33, and Bill J. Whildon, 29, then took the guitar to the Darby Pawn Shop in Delaware County, where they sold it.

Lupton is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, has blue eyes and brown hair, and has a last known address in Ocean City, New Jersey.

Whildon is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, 140 pounds, and has hazel eyes and brown hair. His residence is in Franklinville, New Jersey.
