46 Arrested As 'Full Service Pharmacy' Drug Ring Busted In Chester County: DA
46 have been arrested in a massive drug bust; dealers sold MDMA, crack cocaine, meth, Vicodin, and more across Chester County.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A total of 46 people have been arrested and charged in connection to a massive drug trafficking ring that sold heroin, crack cocaine, crystal meth, and a variety of other illegal drugs across Chester County, the District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday morning.
"Operation Wildlife" was an eight week crackdown on the organization, which the DA's office said was active in every part of Chester County.
Police in Phoenixville, Tredyffrin, Spring City, Downingtown, Oxford, and Parkesburg were all recognized by the DA's Office for contributing to the arrests.

In a press conference Tuesday, the DA's Office described a "full service pharmacy" which the dealers put out in the street.
In addition to heroin, drugs like morphine, oxycodone, suoxone, MDMA, Vicodin, Xanax, and Diazepam were also peddled by the organization.

There were 97 overdose deaths in Chester County in 2016, markedly less than neighbors in Montgomery County (253) and Delaware County (227).
