$5M Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Suburban Philly, Jackpot $1.05B

CHESTER CO., PA — A Mega Millions player in Chester County won $5 million in the most recent drawing as the jackpot bumps up to $1.05 billion, said the Pennsylvania Lottery.

This player matched all five white balls drawn on Friday (05, 10, 28,52, and 63) and purchased the Megaplier option, which multiplied the prize five times this draw, said the lottery.

The yellow Mega Ball number was 18, and the player did not match this number.

The winning ticket was sold at the Thorndale Inn restaurant, 430 Bondsville Road in Downingtown. The retailer earned a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, lottery officials added.

Another player in McKean County matched all five white balls drawn to win $1 million.

The cutoff time for purchasing Mega Millions tickets in Pennsylvania is 9:59 p.m on Tuesdays and Fridays, with the drawing held at 11 p.m. Eastern time.
