The incident took place on Oct. 25, 2025 during homecoming festivities on campus.

It marks the first major break in the case in the more than seven months that have passed since it occurred. Only one man, Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson, had been arrested and charged with aggravated assault until now.

The incident began at around 9:08 p.m. in the parking lot of the International Cultural Center building.

The Chester County District Attorney's Office said that Sells, Rollins, and Valera committed armed robberies throughout the night, moving through the crowds of several thousand people and stealing jewelry and other valuables.

Tips from the public, Instagram posts and messages, text messages, photographs, and videos were all used to piece together events throughout the night and eventually led authorities to three men, the DA said.

“A group of young people from Wilmington decided to commit robberies, killed someone during the course of those robberies, caused five others to be shot, and shattered the Lincoln University community’s sense of safety," District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe said in a statement. "All so they could steal pieces of jewelry. Now, after the work of law enforcement from across the region, we can bring justice to of the victims."

Of the seven people who were shot in the ICC parking lot, one of them, Jujuan Jeffers, was killed.

Rollins was arrested in early January in Wilmington in possession of a pendant that had been stolen that night on campus, police said.

Sells, Rollins, and Valera have all been taken into custody in Delaware and will be extradited to Chester County for arraignment in the coming days.
