UPPER UWCHLAN, PA — The body of a missing paddleboarder was recovered from Marsh Creek State Park over the Fourth of July weekend, authorities said.
The incident occurred on Saturday, July 4 shortly after 8 p.m. as severe storms passed through the region.
First responders launched multiple boats from the west boat ramp. Both search and rescue from local fire departments as well as state DCNR staff assisted in the effort.
The body was discovered shortly after midnight.
NBC Philadelphia reports that two other paddleboarders were rescued from the water.
Crews were on the water for around three hours searching.
The victim has not yet been publicly identified.
