2 Chester County Men Convicted Of Attempted Murder

WEST CHESTER, PA — Two West Chester men were found guilty of attempted murder in a 2022 shooting of a man who police said was hiding in his car.

Sincere Brown-Trowery, 26, and Tyriq Parker, 26, both of Coatesville, will be sentenced in the near future.

The incident occurred on Feb. 24, 2022 on the 500 block of Walnut Street in Coatesville.

Brown-Trowery and Parker drove to the home of the victim seeking to kill him, authorities said.

They found the man in his car and opened fire, and then sped off in their green BMW, police said.

The victim called 911 and and investigators were able to track down both suspects.

"These defendants worked in coordination to try and assassinate someone sitting in their car," Chester County District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe said in a statement. "This violence has no place in our society, a thankfully jury held them accountable for their actions."

Sentencing is forthcoming.
