Chadds Ford Resident Mary Ann Plankinton-Peach Named to Board of the Delaware SPCA

MacElree Harvey is pleased to announce that Mary Ann Plankinton-Peach, a partner in the firm’s Kennett Square and Centreville offices, has been elected to the Board of the Delaware SPCA.

The Delaware SPCA is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to the elimination of animal cruelty, neglect and overpopulation by providing services for people and their companion animals since 1873.

Mary Ann has been representing individuals and families in Pennsylvania and Delaware in family law and estate planning matters for over 19 years. A trained mediator, Mary Ann mediates family law and estate matters in Pennsylvania and Delaware. She has been appointed by the Delaware Family Courts as a guardian ad litem representing children placed in foster care. She also chairs the Chester County Orphans' Court Mediation Committee. A member of the Pennsylvania, Delaware and Chester County Bar Associations Mary Ann received her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1991, and her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s University in 1985. She serves on the Board of the Centreville Delaware Civic Association.
