'Autumn's Colors' Exhibit Debuting Soon At Longwood Gardens
The changing of the seasons into autumn is a remarkable time at Longwood Gardens, with fountain performances, beer garden music, and more.
KENNETT SQUARE, PA — School is back, some cooler weather has finally broke the heat (or at least it did for a few days) and Chester County area residents are looking forward to autumn and the changing of the seasons.
Longwood Gardens will debut its newest exhibit, Autumn's Colors, beginning Oct. 4. The exhibit will run through Nov. 18.
"Throughout the season, warm hues paint the landscape as the air turns cooler amid one of the gardens’ liveliest and most colorful seasons," organizers describe. "The Meadow Garden reaches a crescendo as late-blooming goldenrod, native aster, and warm-season grasses and foliage burst with vibrant color."

Fountain performances set to music and live music in the beer garden will highlight these final months of the year.
