Borough of West Chester: Borough Hosted A “Virtual” Community Cleanup Event

On Saturday April 24th and Sunday April 25th the Borough hosted a “virtual” Community Cleanup event. Over 150 volunteers participated in the COVID-safe event by picking up trash and recycling from 196 blocks of the Borough and all twelve parks. Well-represented among the volunteers were some of the Borough’s youngest citizens! If you missed it, just grab a bag and get out there!

Special thanks to the West Chester Business Improvement District and the Borough departments of Sustainability and Parks & Recreation for coordinating the event, as well as all of the volunteers who made it a success.
