The West Chester PA branch of the NAACP will present new books to the Oscar Lasko YMCA of Greater Brandywine’s Childcare & Early Learning Center.
The gift to the Oscar Lasko YMCA is a result of the YMCA/NAACP-♥️ To Read: Book Drive & Library Campaign that was launched on Juneteenth as part of the branch’s year round "Celebrate 365 - Community,Culture,History" campaign. It marks the first initiative in the West Chester NAACP’s 2025 Celebrate 365 program.
The gift to the YMCA is made possible through donations from the members of the branch and the greater West Chester community.
The event highlights the power of education and community partnership. The donated books will support literacy, inspire curiosity and reflect the richness of our community for children in YGBW’s early learning programs.
