The Secret Gardens of West Chester Tour returns on Saturday, September 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, offering visitors a rare chance to explore more than a dozen private gardens in the borough’s northwest quadrant. This is a self-guided walking tour of a lovely area of West Chester.
Proceeds benefit West Chester Friends School’s educational programming, including Forest School Fridays, which bring students into local parks each week for outdoor learning. This year’s tour features at least 12 unique gardens, ranging from lush backyard retreats to creative urban landscapes. Visitors can also enjoy the popular Plant Sale on the WCFS campus, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring a curated selection of plants, flowers, and garden favorites.
