West Chester Cooperative

After more than 11 years of community organizing, planning, fundraising and volunteer effort, the West Chester Cooperative will celebrate the grand opening of its community-owned grocery store at 204 W. Market Street with a community celebration beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Guests are invited to stop by to tour the store, meet the team, enjoy samples, take family photos with our mascot Moe the Carrot, and celebrate the opening with the community.<ul><li>3:30 pm: Ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the store, followed by a community toast with remarks from&nbsp;Judy Carrino, Board President, and General Manager Issa Ostrander.</li><li>4-7 pm: Community celebration with vendor tastings, our mascot Moe the Carrot, store tours, and member-owner sign up opportunities.&nbsp;</li></ul>

Grand opening programming will also feature local guest vendors:
<ul><li>Golden Valley Coffee — 11 a.m.–2 p.m.</li><li>Baba's Brew — 2–4 p.m.</li><li>Brandywine Soap — 3–6 p.m.</li></ul>
Guest vendors and tastings will be a regular part of the Co-op experience, giving shoppers opportunities to meet local farmers, makers and producers, and discover the people and products behind what they find on the shelves.




The Co-op is open to the public seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

"Check out" a BVSPCA adoptable pup for a golden hour stroll through the vines, then relax on the lawn with wine, live music &amp; great food while soaking in the beautiful views.
Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of wine&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;exclusive vineyard access, along with Live Music on the Lawn by Jason Ager and a local food truck (TBD) serving up delicious eats. Whether you're here for the pups, the pours, or the peaceful views, every sip gives back with — 10% of all bar sales donated in support of the BVSPCA &amp; PRLA Educational Foundation which supports the future of the&nbsp;Pennsylvania hospitality industry through educational programming and career development initiatives.&nbsp;

Alderfer Auction is expanding its local presence with the opening of a new satellite sales office in Wayne, PA, starting Wednesday, October 7th.
 Located at 303 West Lancaster Ave, Suite 2C (above The UPS Store), the office will be open weekly on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
 Appointments are preferred, though walk-ins are welcome with a limit of two items. For larger collections, please arrange a dedicated in-home consultation. To schedule an appointment, email&nbsp;preview@alderferauction.com or call 215-393-3000.
The Wayne office will be led by Allyson Babcock, an accredited member of the Appraisers Association of America with over 15 years of experience in the auction and appraising industry. A resident of the Main Line community with a background rooted in her family's decades-long antique business and a degree from Brown University, Allyson specializes in American Furniture, Fine Art, and decorative arts, providing USPAP-compliant appraisals for estate tax, insurance, and equitable distribution.
