The local firefighter shared and received hundreds of images for the past several years, officials said.
AVONDALE, PA — A Chester County firefighter has been arrested after federal authorities said he had child pornography and sexually abused a boy he worked with.
Anton Bilski, 25, who was a lieutenant with the Avondale Fire Company as well as a 911 operator, faces numerous charges.
"The Avondale Fire Company is aware of the filing of serious charges against a member who has had his membership revoked and relieved of all responsibilities," the organization said in a statement, noting they are fully cooperating with the continuing investigation into Bilski.

Officials said Bilski used the account to share and receive hundreds of explicit images of minors.
That activity dates back at least to 2023 and continued through Feb. 2026, authorities said.
Investigators said they also discovered that Bilski contacted a 15-year-old boy for sex through Snapchat in 2021. Police said Bilski claimed to be 18 but was actually 20 at the time.
Authorities are continuing to investigate Bilski and more charges could be forthcoming
He was booked at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia. A preliminary hearing will be set in the near future.
