Chester Co. Man Sentenced For Having Sex With A Horse

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A Chester County man has pleaded guilty to charges that he had sex with a horse, according to court documents and media reports.

Edwin Henderson, 54, of West Brandywine, was sentenced to six months probation on counts of cruelty to animals and disorderly conduct.

The incident occurred at a barn on July 28, 2018 on a Honey Brook farm on Route 322, according to the Times Herald.

A man who had gone to the barn there to check on his girlfriend's horses after a storm found one of the black miniature horses out of its stall and tied up, with its tail tied together and pulled aside, according to the report.

The man then saw Henderson standing behind the horse wearing only boxers, the report states. Henderson confessed to the man he'd had sex with that horse.

In addition to probation, Henderson must also receive mental health and sex offender evaluations from professionals, court documents indicate.
