Chester Co. Sheriffs Growing K-9 Unit: See How Police Dogs Work

WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County is continuing to expand its K-9 operations, it announced, as they continue to work to secure new funding through grants.

The sheriff's office released a mini-documentary this week that takes fans through a day in the life of the professionally trained pups that help keep the county safe. The sheriff's office says it reflects the "dedication, skill, and teamwork" at the heart of K-9 work.

The sheriff's office points specifically to a partnership with the Chester County Department of Emergency Services that has allowed them to secure new grant funding. Grants have brought the department new training equipment, advanced training programs, and most of all new dogs.
