270 guests attended the event which included a silent auction with over 80 baskets, hors d’oeuvres, live music and a photo booth. Following the auction was a formal dinner and presentation emceed by Pastor Jason Houck from Mission Community Church (Exton, PA). CCWS Executive Director, Myriam Ruager was the main speaker. The funds raised at this event will help further the CCWS mission of saving the lives of unborn children and offering hope to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. Houck noted, “Last year, CCWS had 34 abortion minded clients choose life for their babies. All of the work that goes on year round at CCWS would have been worth it for just one life being saved, but instead, we are standing here today in awe knowing 34 precious lives were saved!”
Hunt introduced the new CCWS Medical Director (Dr. Brown) and new Radiologist, Dr. Jeffrey Hung. Brown and Hung oversee the medical aspect of the organization. He also informed the guests that of the three locations in which CCWS operates, the West Chester Center relocated from a quiet side-street in the borough to 139 W. Market Street. The new office is in a prominent location within the borough and in close proximity to the local abortion clinic, proving an opportunity to intercede clients who are planning to terminate their pregnancies.
