Chesterbrook Academy in Chadds Ford Donates to Those in Need

Students collected gifts for an adopted family through PathWays PA during the holidays

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Chadds Ford held donation drives for two local causes during the holidays. The school adopted a family through PathWays PA and held a gift drive to collect items to give to the family. The students also worked to collect items, such as gloves, hats and scarves, for the local homeless community to help keep them warm this winter. A Pre-K 2 teacher at the school delivered the items after the collection was completed. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others in a time of need.

PathWays PA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to help women, teens, children and families achieve economic independence and family well-being. For more information, visit www.pathwayspa.org.
