Credit union "dress down days" raise $1,000 for Philabundance
TruMark Financial donates $1,000 to Philabundance

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. —In the credit union spirit of “People Helping People,” TruMark Financial® Credit Union allows its employees to wear jeans on Fridays in exchange for a donation to a charitable cause. “Employees enjoy dressing more casually on Fridays, and feel a sense of pride knowing they are helping those less fortunate,” said JoAnn McCausland, senior vice president, human resources. In February, the credit union raised $1,000 in support of Philabundance, which will support the organization’s continued efforts of feeding families and those in need in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties.
Philabundance provides food to approximately 90,000 people per week – of which 30% are children and 15% are senior citizens – through its network of nearly 350 member agencies including food cupboards, shelters, emergency kitchens and more.
TruMark Financial is one of the strongest, most progressive credit unions in the nation, offering a full range of banking, investing, and insurance services to more than 115,000 members in Southeastern Pa.
