Fourth of July will be here before you know it. Here's your full guide to fireworks and other fun happenings in the Downingtown area.

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — The Fourth of July is quickly approaching, which means it's time to finalize your fireworks plans.

Downingtown's Good Neighbor Day will take place on July 4 at Kerr Park. Things will kick off with the 40th Annual 5k Run for Life and 23rd Annual Freedom Walk at 8 a.m. For registration information, see here.

Carnival rides, games, and food will run from 10 a.m. through the end of the night.

Other events include canoe races, a bicycle decorating contest, a big wheel race, a live bird of prey program, a duck race, and live music from several local bands, including Walt Kinsey & Company, Pennsylvania Surfers, Moondawgs, Jeff Dominick, and School of Rock.

Fireworks will cap off the event at dusk.

Phoenixville's fireworks celebration will begin at around 6 p.m. on July 4 at Friendship Field. There will be vendors, drinks, funnel cakes, and more available.

Fireworks will be set off at around dusk, typically at 9:15 p.m.
