Early Dismissal For West Chester School District Thursday

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester schools will dismiss early on Thursday, Nov. 15 due to inclement weather. The announcement came in just after 11 a.m.

Snow is expected to move into the area in mid-morning, with one to three inches in the forecast. Precipitation will likely turn to rain and sleet by afternoon.

All schools will close two hours early. The following schedule is in effect:

• High schools and Fugett Middle School: close at 12:15 p.m.
• Stetson and Peirce Middle Schools: close at 12:50 p.m.
• East Bradford, East Goshen, Exton, Glen Acres: close at 1:10 p.m.
• Fern Hill, Hillsdale, Mary C. Howse, Penn Wood, Starkweather, and Westtown-Thornbury: close at 1:40 pm.
• Child's Place: canceled

All afternoon and extra-curricular activities are canceled.
