Do you like to sing? Come to the Spring Concert by the West Chester Area Community Chorus (WCACC) to check us out—you may wish to join the fun. This year’s concert is on Saturday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. at East High School’s Auditorium, located at 450 Ellis Lane in West Chester. In addition, we will announce the graduating senior selected for this year’s WCACC scholarship. The chosen individual traditionally shares a song with the audience as well. The WCACC now has about 100 members who will perform a wide selection of songs including a medley from both Johnny Mercer and South Pacific. Another Broadway
favorite is Bring Him Home from Les Miserables, but we don’t ignore the classics like Haydn’s Awake the Harp or other songs like the always popular It’s a Grand Night for Singing. There will be other numbers performed as well,
so please join us. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance or at the door, space allowing. Contact the group
at wcacommchorus@comcast.net or visit the group’s website at www.westchesterchorus.com.
