Harvey tells the story of one of modern theatre’s most lovable characters, Elwood P. Dowd. His only problem? His friendship with an imaginary six-foot-tall rabbit named Harvey. When Elwood starts to introduce Harvey to guests at a society party, his society-obsessed sister, Veta, wants to spare her family future embarrassment and decides to have him committed to a mental institution. But when a doctor mistakenly commits the anxious Veta instead, Elwood and Harvey’s escape sparks a whirlwind of comedy and chaos as everyone in town tries to catch them.
This classic, warm-hearted comedy of errors is about losing your mind and finding your true friends, both real and imaginary.
