Funeral Services Set For PA State Trooper Killed In Chester County
Memorial services in Chester County will honor the life and sacrifice of Corporal Timothy O'Connor.

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — The memorial services for the fallen Pennsylvania State Police trooper from Chester County have been announced.
A viewing for Corporal Timothy O'Connor will be held Tuesday, March 17 from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Downingtown.
The church is located on 338 Manor Avenue.

The funeral will be held the next morning, Wednesday March 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church.
The 40-year-old O'Connor has been remembered across the nation as a hero after he was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Honey Brook Sunday night.

The shooter then turned the gun on himself in a murder-suicide, police said.
"To those...who never had the opportunity to meet, or to get to know Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Timothy O'Connor, it is important for you to know that he made every effort to serve you and to protect you," the Parkesburg Police Department shared.
The investigation into O'Connor's shooting remains underway. In addition to many close colleagues, family, and friends, O'Connor left behind his wife, Casey, and their 6-year-old daughter.
