"We live in a nation that remembers the lives that were lost."

WEST CHESTER, PA — Elementary school students in West Chester honored the victims of the attacks of September 11, 2001 on Monday, which was the sixteenth anniversary of the deadliest terrorist attack on United States soil since Pearl Harbor.
Students at Hillside Elementary School paid tribute to the many Americans who lost their lives when the planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and in western Pennsylvania.
None of the children in attendance at the event had been born yet when the 9/11 attacks occurred.
