The Immaculata Symphony Presents “Heroes and Villains”

On Sunday, Feb. 23 from 3 to 5 p.m., the Immaculata Symphony will join forces with the Chester County Youth Orchestra to present an interactive concert celebrating some of the most iconic heroes and villains in music. This family-friendly performance will take place at Immaculata University’s Alumnae Hall Theater.

The concert will feature beloved music from popular movies and classical compositions, including “William Tell Overture” by Gioachino Rossini, “The Incredibles” by Michael Giacchino, “Harry Potter Symphonic Suite”, “Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back” and “Superman March” by John Williams, “In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Edvard Grieg and “Mission: Impossible” by Lalo Schifrin.

A special highlight of the event will allow young audience members to step into the conductor’s shoes and direct the orchestra in a hands-on, engaging experience. Children and families will also have the chance to learn about the instruments, how composers create their music and the artistry behind bringing stories to life through sound.
